Once a humble tavern that sold coal and wine, Taverna D’EL Rey is now a place full of history, run by fado singer Maria Jô-Jô. Every detail has been carefully designed to celebrate Portuguese culture — from the wooden ceiling reminiscent of the old caravels to the Portuguese cobblestone floor decorated with musical clefs, evoking the emotional chords of fado.
